Why I Created This.
I thought of this service after being involved in teaching and coaching for over 32 years. I had a hard time understanding why it would take someone so long to get in shape. I trained with the discipline of a professional athlete. Everything on the training diet log is what a professional competitor is aware and in control of on a daily basis.
Trainers and coaches get overwhelmed with excuses from their clients concerning why they can't lose weight or get in shape. This service will put the accountability back on the individual instead of solely on the training and the trainer. Here's an example. a person can workout all day long but if you don't eat and sleep right, then the results will be minimized. Changing the way a person thinks is the biggest battle.
How It Works
Put it down on paper set small goals and record your results. It takes 5 minutes to program your thoughts for the day, week, or month. At a glance you will see how much you train, what you do, and what the results were. Recording your diet is huge. Eat Bad! Look Bad! How much you sleep effects your metabolism and your ability to burn calories, and feed muscle.
How do you know where your going? If you don't know where you've been.
Let your trainer look at your diet. And more importantly, look at it your self. Your weight gain and loss is an every day event. Record your weight everyday. Alcohol effects your weight the day after your drink. You can see a weight cycle. Drink one night, not the next day. If you do that for a week, you will see your weight yo-yo about two to three pounds every other day. Could it be because you drink too much and then stuff your face when you're ripped?! TRUE STORY! I had a client complain about training for 6 months and only losing 3 pounds. That made me angry, so I bought a scales and made everyone weigh in daily before class. I told her it may have had something to do with the 5th of Crown Royal she drank every 4 days. I lost 3 clients that day because they didn't want to weigh in. I made all my clients do it from that point and I'm still doing it now. Those girls are still fat, and my clients are making weight. I see it, and they see it everyday, too. Pro athletes do it in every sport.
Next time you want to blame someone else track your your sleep, diet, and workouts. Then blame yourself for your poor training, diet or habits.
The body is on a 24 hour cycle You Eat, You Sleep, and You Exercise. Everyday not every other day.
The calendar at a glance will tell you about your consistency in your training. Your trainer will be able to assess, for the first time, your complete life style. It's not just about the usual one two, three, and counting reps routine. |

Oh My God! You might be able to truthfully say...
"Say What You Mean And Back Up What You Say".
That means be honest with your self and your trainer or coach. Set goals in the notation field for the coming week- every week. Be realistic and be consistent with your log entries.
This is a habit you need to create that will help control your thinking. It creates consistency, vision, goals, and achievement. These new habits will increase your motivation, which will in turn create more results.
At some point you need to quit being delusional. You may think you want it, you might wish you want it, but you can't wish it into reality.
Plan Your Work Your Plan
When you look at what you do you will be surprised at the feeling you get. Mine was, "That's it? That's all I do?". I immediately made changes. I added weights, increased my cardio, and started concentrating on my diet. Now I see habits in everything I do. Some good, some bad. Information is all it has to be. Just plain simple information. Face your self and make changes. Record it on the log.
Your clients will play jokes on the trainer too. They will say something to see if you're actually calibrating what they are doing. One client said under the smoking category he said,"crack", and another client said in the notations field that she was an alcoholic and she was going to quit drinking so she could loose one hundred
pounds. She doesn't have a hundred pounds to loose, and she doesn't drink like that. He definitely doesn't smoke crack. It was funny because they were both waiting to see if I noticed. We all had a good cheap laugh about it. The service goes both ways. The trainer or coach has to step up, not just the client. The trainer uses the service to see what it takes first. Then they demand, not request clients use it, too. The client is paying you to get results, give them every advantage at your disposal so they can get results.
Are you mind reader? Probably not. Do people lie? Yes they do. Use the log until you develop the ability to read minds. It is free and it is your best shot. Thinking, doing, and knowing. Thinking has no power until demonstrated.
This is reality, real reality. "Think it, Say it, Do it". Be a triple congruent.
